Cialis is the first treatment for erectile dysfunction to be launched in the UK, following the release of its patent in March 2017.

Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition that causes difficulty getting or keeping an erection firm enough for sex. It can be caused by several factors, including diabetes, stress, hormonal changes and certain cancers. Diabetes can contribute to erectile dysfunction, and may be linked to lower blood sugar levels.
The UK’s patent on Cialis expired in October, enabling men to obtain the drug in the UK without needing to visit a doctor.
